Incoming first-year students from all majors, with the exception of Architecture, Dance, and Engineering, are encouraged to apply regardless of your past level of leadership experience. Experienced student leaders as well as students with no prior experience will benefit from and enjoy this Learning Community.

Lynch Hall is located in North Village and is a freshmen-only building offering suite-style housing. Lynch Hall is centrally located and is near the Student Union, UREC (the recreation and fitness center), and the light rail stop on campus! View the virtual housing tour to learn more about Lynch Hall.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should submit a LC application, available at the button below. Leadership & Community Engagement will then connect with applicants to learn more about them, share information on the learning community, and answer any questions you may have.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but must be submitted by May 25. Interested students are encouraged to apply early as placement in the LJLC is not guaranteed closer to the application due date.
